Some weddings just radiate cool, and Carus & Maya’s intimate London ceremony was exactly that — heartfelt, stylish, and full of personality.

This adventurous couple, originally from Canada, share a love for travelling and exploring new places. Having recently moved to the UK, they wanted their wedding day to reflect the place they now call home — the vibrant East End of London.

Their civil ceremony at Hackney Town Hall was beautifully simple and deeply personal, shared only with their closest friends. While their families were saving the big celebrations for their traditional wedding in Italy, this day was about them — their journey, their friendship, and their love story.

After the ceremony, we swapped luxury cars for London Buses and the Underground, capturing Carus & Maya as they travelled through the city together — laughing, holding hands, and soaking up the atmosphere. Everywhere they went, Londoners cheered, congratulated, and celebrated with them. It was such a joy to witness two people so in love being embraced by the city itself.
